How to Adopt

So you're ready to adopt!

Adopting a new family member is an exciting time and we want to make sure you're prepared!

Bringing in a new rescue pet is a time consuming process.

* The Home Check

Home visits are required to adopt a dog from us!

* The Meet & Greet!

This is the most exciting part.

* Trial Adoption

All of our animals are on a two week trial adoption when they first arrive home. We do this to ensure your new family member settles in well and it's a life-long happily ever after!

*Adoption Finalization

After the two week trial adoption concludes, and everyone has fallen madly in love, for better or worse, we turn over medical history, and microchip information, collect the adoption fee and sign the final adoption contract!

Adoption Policies

One of the biggest issues we have in rescue is lack of commitment. Please understand, adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment and many pets can live 10-12 years or longer.

If you can not commit, please consider fostering first.
